How it works

Stage 1: prefilter and Active Armour™ conditioning

This first stage of filtration utilizes a high capacity 10 micron pre-filter to clarify your water and protect your ultrafilter from large particulates for 150,000 gallons. Simultaneously, this filtration stage also harnesses the power of Active Armour™ to condition your water. Active Armour™ is designed to reduce corrosion and hard water scale on plumbing, appliances, and fixtures in internal testing.

Stage 2: Symphony Ultrafilter (FLT-CSS-UF)

The Symphony Ultrafilter (FLT-CSS-UF) is a self-cleaning ultrafiltration module rated to approx. 0.02 micron (manufacturer data). It is designed to reduce turbidity, colloidal clay and high molecular weight organic contaminants. The complete system is certified to NSF/ANSI 53 for cyst reduction; NSF/ANSI P231 listing is pending. Rated for up to 1,000,000 gallons. One Ultrafilter handles up to 15 gpm; the Symphony 1 and 2 series take one Ultrafilter.

Stage 3: extreme high-capacity carbon blocks

Two Extreme High Capacity Carbon Blocks work to further polish your water to address Chlorine, Organics, Herbicides, and Pesticides and improve tastes and odors. Each Cartridge is rated to filter up to 265,000 gallons for a total filtering capacity of 530,000 gallons.

Before and after: a Utah well water example
